Will Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) talk about its car project today? Our poll says probably not.

A Benzinga Twitter poll found that 75 percent don't expect to hear anything about Project Titan, the code-name given to Apple's car development.

Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak earlier this month described how automotive is a perfect fit for Apple because it fuses high returns with the opportunity to improve people's lives.

"So the car market makes total sense to me for Apple," Wozniak said. "But the important thing is that I hope if they get off on a product." Wozniak goes on to say that if the Apple Car isn't "insanely great" than the company "should drop it and start over."

The Wall Street Journal in January said the head of the company's electric car project was leaving the company because of personal reasons. "Apple has placed a hiring freeze on the team responsible for the company's nascent automotive ambitions after executives became unhappy with the project's direction and progress," Apple Insider said at the time.

According to the outlet, these changes came after a progress review held by Apple design head Jony Ive, who "expressed his displeasure" with the progress of Project Titan.

JPMorgan analyst Rod Hall addressed these concerns, saying in a January note that, "We don’t see this as a major issue for Apple given the longer term horizon of the Titan project," Hall wrote.

That didn't stop the analyst from semi-endorsing Apple's rumored involvement in the auto space. "For what it's worth, we do believe that product design and manufacturing companies like Apple have a natural role to play in the world of modularized and increasingly IT driven automobile platforms."
