H & R Block shares tumbled 6.05 percent to $30.90 in the after-hours trading session.Broadcom Ltd (NASDAQ: AVGO) reported stronger-than-expected earnings for its first quarter and announced its plans to cut 1,900 jobs globally. Broadcom shares surged 7.19 percent to $147.20 in the after-hours trading session.
