3M Co (NYSE: MMM) shares are trading higher by $7 at $144.57 in Tuesday's session. Investors are applauding its Q4 EPS beat of $0.17 with a slight miss in revenues. Also, the company affirmed FY16 EPS guidance.

After a sharply higher open, it fell back but found support ahead of the upper-end of Monday's range ($139.37), reaching $140.33 before resuming its move higher.

If the rally continues beyond its current intra-day high, there may be additional resistance at its January 6 high of $145.76.
