4 Stocks Moving In Tuesday's After-Hours Session

Shares of CSX Corporation (NASDAQ: CSX) were trading down more than 2 percent in Tuesday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s fourth quarter fiscal 2015 financial results. The transportation services provider reported earnings of $0.48 per share, beating the Street’s consensus estimate of $0.46 per share. However, revenue of $2.781 billion came short of expectations, which called for sales of $2.916 billion.

Micro-cap companies Mattersight Corp (NASDAQ: MATR) and Intersections Inc. (NASDAQ: INTX) were up 7.6 percent and 7.8 percent, respectively, after the market closed. Both surges seemed like corrections of the roughly 7 percent losses each of the stocks had registered over the regular session.

AK Steel Holding Corporation (NYSE: AKS) gained 5.83 percent during the day, after the U.S. Department of Commerce imposed a 7.42 percent preliminary countervailing duty (CVD) on hot-rolled steel imports from Brazil, which benefits U.S. domestic steel producers.

However, the shares lost about 3.8 percent after the bell rang. The decline seen after hours could be nothing more than a correction of the rise mentioned above. However, it could also be a response to the reiteration of an Equal-Weight rating and $2.000 price target that Barclays issued on Tuesday.

Disclosure: Javier Hasse holds no positions in any of the securities mentioned above.
