Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) shares are trading higher by $13 at $688.20 in Tuesday's session. After a higher open, it retreated only $0.09 to $677.88 before continuing its move higher.

It has easily surpassed its former all-time high ($684.82), reaching $689.75 before pulling back to its current level. So far, the issue has gained over $25 since last Thursday's close of $663.79.
