Shares of Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) were down more than 16 percent in Tuesday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s third quarter financial results. The restaurant operator reported earnings of $1.00 per share on revenue of $3.427 billion, well below the Street’s consensus estimate of $1.07 per share and $3.684 billion.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ: ADBE) lost about 10 percent. The decline was triggered by the company’s issuing lowered full-year guidance.

The Credit Suisse AG - VelocityShares 3x Long Silver ETN (NASDAQ: USLV) gained more than 3.5 percent after the market closed, continuing with the 3.63 percent surge the stock experienced during the day.

Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: NUS) was down more than 16 percent following the update to the company’s revenue guidance for the third quarter of 2015 management provided.

Other stocks surging on Tuesday’s after-hours session include:

  • Continental Resources, Inc. (NYSE: CLR), up more than 2 percent
  • Arch Coal Inc (NYSE: ACI), up more than 1 percent
  • Michaels Companies Inc (NASDAQ: MIK), up over 2.6 percent
  • Credit Suisse AG - VelocityShares Daily 2x VIX Short Term ETN (NASDAQ: TVIX), up about 2.4 percent
