Aerie Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: AERI) shares fell 56.06 percent to $15.55 in pre-market trading following an announcement of a failed Phase 3 drug trial for Rhopressa. Canaccord Genuity downgraded Aerie Pharmaceuticals from Buy to Hold and lowered the price target from $40.00 to $12.00.

Ubiquiti Networks Inc (NASDAQ: UBNT) shares declined 15.21 percent to $26.65 in pre-market trading after the company announced the resignation of its CFO Craig Foster and reported weak preliminary Q3 results. BMO Capital downgraded Ubiquiti Networks from Outperform to Market Perform and lowered the price target from $34.00 to $26.00. NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) shares dropped 6.69 percent to $46.43 in pre-market. On Thursday, Nasdaq reported quarterly earnings of $0.80 per share on revenue of $507 million. Unilife Corp (NASDAQ: UNIS) fell 5.88 percent to $3.52 in pre-market trading after dropping 1.32 percent on Thursday. Pandora Media Inc (NYSE: P) slipped 3.90 percent to $17.02 in pre-market trading after the company reported results for the first quarter. The company reported a quarterly loss of $48.3 million, or $0.23 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $28.9 million, or $0.14 per share. Its adjusted loss came in at $0.12 per share.
