The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index slipped 0.04 percent to 2,107.20.The worst performing industries in the market today are: Regional - Southeast Banks: The industry dropped 1.2 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was BB&T Corporation (NYSE: BBT), which declined 2.1 percent. BB&T reported downbeat Q1 earnings. Regional - Mid-Atlantic Banks: This industry declined 1.1 percent by 11:00 am with Southside Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBSI) moving down 1.5 percent. Southside Bancshares' PEG ratio is 6.96. Computer Peripherals: This industry tumbled 1.1 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE: DDD), which fell 1.4 percent. 3D Systems shares have dropped 40.61 percent over the past 52 weeks, while the S&P 500 index has gained 12.21 percent in the same period. Semiconductor - Specialized: This industry fell 1 percent by 11:00 am ET. Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MPWR) shares dropped 3.5 percent in today's trading. Monolithic Power reported upbeat Q1 results.
