The Deal:
Prologis (NYSE: PLD) announced Sunday, it has signed definitive agreements to acquire the real estate assets and operating platform of KTR Capital Partners for $5.9 billion. The transaction includes the assumption of about $700 million of secured mortgage debt and the issuance of up to $230 million of common limited partnership units in Prologis to KTR.The deal is expected to close in the next 30-60 days.Prologis lost $0.09 Friday, closing at $42.88.Raytheon to Acquire Websense from Vista Equity Partners for $1.9BThe Rumor:
Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has agreed to acquire Websense for $1.9 billion from private equity firm Vista Equity Partners according to sources reported by Reuters.Vista Equity partners declined comment. Shares of Mylan N.V. (NYSE: MYL) and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NYSE: TEVA) spiked higher Friday, following a report from the Wall Street Journal that Teva could be considering a bid for the uK-based generic drug maker. Mylan responded to the report, commenting that they are fully committed to a stand-alone strategy.Mylan shares were briefly halted on a circuit-breaker, following the report.Mylan offered $205 per share for Perrigo (NYSE: PRGO) on April 8.Mylan shares gained 4.5% Friday, closing at $69.82. Teva shares gained more than 2%, closing at $64.91. Perrigo closed at $198.98, a loss of $0.02, though shares fell as low as $189.63.Anadarko Petroleum Considering Selling Stake In Mozambique Gas AssetsThe Rumor:
Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE: APC) is considering the sale of it Mozambique gas reserves, according to sources as reported by Reuters. Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM) and Qatar Petroleum reportedly have an interest in acquiring the assets.Anadarko and Exxon declined comment on the report.Anadarko Petroleum shares lost $0.26 Friday, closing at $93.68. 58.com Acquires ~43.2% Stake In Ganji.com; Tencent to Increase Stake in 58.com to ~25.1%The Deal:
58.com (NYSE: WUBA) announced Friday, that it has acquired an approximately 43.2% stake in the holding company operating Ganji.com, for 34 million newly issued ordinary shares of 58.com and $412.2 million in cash. 58.com also announced an approximately $400 million additional investment by Tencent Holdings Limited (OTC: TCEHY). Tencent will hold in aggregate approximately 25.1% of the total issued and outstanding shares of 58.com on a fully-diluted basis.The deal was expected to close in a few days.58.com gained more than 4% Friday, closing at $70.50.
