Guess?, Inc. (NYSE: GES) jumped more than 12 percent in Wednesday's after-hours session to $18.80 after the company posted fourth-quarter results above the Wall Street consensus.

NQ Mobile Inc (NYSE: NQ) picked up 9 percent to $4.31 a share after the Chinese mobile services provider posted fourth-quarter results that were better than expected.

Shoe Carnival, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCVL) gained 8 percent to $26.21 after the company beat quarterly earnings expectations by a wide margin on a 9.5 percent increase in same-store sales.

Teekay Offshore Partners L.P. (NYSE: TOO) increased 8 percent to $24.50. The company didn't issue any news.

Flamel Technologies S.A. (NASDAQ: FLML) rose 7 percent in extended session to $18.06 a share. The French pharmaceutical company is expected to post fourth-quarter earnings Thursday before the bell.

Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (NASDAQ: SBLK) picked up more than 4 percent to $38.28 ahead of its fourth-quarter results expected after the bell Thursday.

Anthera Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ANTH) dropped more than 3 percent to $4.22 after closing down sharply Wednesday. Earlier, the company priced an offering of 5.6 million shares at $4.50 a share.

Terex Corporation (NYSE: TEX) gave back some of its earlier gains, dropping about 5 percent in extended trading Wednesday to $25.43. The Westport, Connecticut-based maker of construction cranes and other heavy equipment issued no news.
