Cyberark Software Ltd (NASDAQ: CYBR) extended its gains on Friday in the wake of a fourth-quarter earnings blow-out, and the glow of a White House-sponsored conference on cyber security.

Cyberark, with dual headquarters in Israel and Newtown, Massachusetts, is up nearly 48 percent since posting results on Thursday, changing hands recently at $53.46, up $7.77.

The company's 81 percent increase in fourth-quarter revenue might be helping to push other shares in the sector higher.
Vasco Data Security International, Inc. (NASDAQ: VDSI) gained nearly 9 percent to $27.41; FireEye Inc (NASDAQ: FEYE) changed hands recently up more than 5 percent at $41.71; and Cyren Ltd (NASDAQ: CYRN) rose nearly 13 percent to $2.93 a share.

President Obama spoke at a cyber security conference in Palo Alto, California on Friday, where he signed an executive order directing private companies to share data with the U.S. government about threats.

Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL)'s Tim Cook reportedly attended the conference, but absent were top executives from Google Inc (NASDAQ: GOOGL), Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB) and Yahoo Inc. (NASDAQ: YHOO), Reuters reports.
