Walgreen Co (NYSE: WAG) announced its plans to delist its shares from the NYSE and the Chicago Stock Exchange following the closing of the previously announced reorganization of Walgreens into a holding company structure. The company intends to apply to list the shares of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. on The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC under the ticker symbol “WBA.” Walgreen shares slipped 1.55% to close at $73.23 on Friday.
Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) offered an update on data security incident. The company said malware could have allowed access to some transaction data. Staples shares dropped 0.51% to close at $17.55 on Friday.
