Shares of TIM Participacoes S.A. (TSU) spiked higher Wednesday, following a Bloomberg report that Oi SA (NYSE: OIBR), Telefonica SA (NYSE: TEF) and Claro SA are planning to make an offer that would value TIM at around $15 billion, according to sources. Oi has agreed to sell its Portuguese assets to Altice SA ahead of a potential deal.Spokespersons for the parties declined comment on the report.TIM Participacoes shares closed Wednesday at $23.49, a gain of $1.27.Tyco Acquires Industrial Safety Technologies For $329.5M In CashThe Deal:
