Internet service provider and search service AOL is reportedly in talks to acquire technology blog TechCrunch, a well-known blog focusing on the tech world. Financial terms of the deal are not yet known.AOL and TechCrunch discussed a marriage a few years ago, but no deal materialized.The deal would be the latest in a series of alliances between content and Internet companies, which are seeking to draw more users and advertisers by pumping out inexpensive articles on popular topics like fashion, news and sports, according to the Wall Street Journal.AOL operates Engadget, a TechCrunch rival.
