Expect A 'Vigorous' Refresh Cycle

Apple has been hyping its 2014 lineup ever since SVP Eddy Cue told Re/code's Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher that Apple has the "best product pipeline" that he's seen in his 25-year career.

Analysts are also excited for what the company is working on.

"My understanding is that the Apple refresh cycle should be quite vigorous compared to where it was a year ago," Argus Research analyst James Kelleher told Benzinga.

The Largest Model Could Cost $299

Analysts are optimistic about the pricing structure for the next-generation iPhone. They don't expect Apple to increase the price of the base (4.7-inch) model, which is larger than the iPhone 5S.

The biggest iPhone (5.5-inch) could retail for $299, however.

iWatch Unveiling Is Not Guaranteed

Analysts think that Apple will introduce the iWatch today, but upstream supply chain sources have indicated that may not be the case.

If the iWatch is not unveiled, consumers may have to wait until 2015 to purchase Apple's first wearable device.

Most Leaks Are Fake

While the leaks may prove to be similar to the final product, most of them are not real.

Markets Closed Lower Ahead Of Apple's Event

It may have been a coincidence, but the markets closed lower on Monday, September 8 -- just one day before Apple's highly anticipated event.
