Lowe's shares gained 1.84% to $52.47 in after-hours trading.Analysts are expecting Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HPQ) to have earned $0.89 per share on revenue of $27.01 billion in the third quarter. Hewlett-Packard shares climbed 0.48% to $35.65 in after-hours trading.Hertz Global Holdings (NYSE: HTZ) withdrew its financial forecast for 2014 due to ongoing audit cost. Hertz shares dipped 11.72% to $27.86 in the after-hours trading session.Analysts expect Staples (NASDAQ: SPLS) to report its Q2 earnings at $0.11 per share on revenue of $5.16 billion. Staples shares declined 0.52% to $11.56 in after-hours trading.American Eagle Outfitters (NYSE: AEO) is estimated to report its Q2 earnings at $0.00 per share on revenue of $689.94 million. American Eagle shares surged 1.04% to $11.71 in the after-hours trading session.PetSmart (NASDAQ: PETM) reported that it is exploring strategic alternatives including a possible sale of the company. The company also reported upbeat earnings for the second quarter. PetSmart shares climbed 5.38% to $73.45 in the after-hours trading session.
