Rodney McLeod Jr., a seasoned NFL safety and Super Bowl 52 champion, has confirmed this will be his last professional season.

At 34, McLeod has announced he will retire after a distinguished 13-year career across several teams, including the St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, and Cleveland Browns. His career includes a notable Super Bowl victory with the Eagles in 2017.

After a bicep injury curtailed his 2023 season, McLeod signed again with the Cleveland Browns for “one last lap” with the team.

Community Champion

Off the field, McLeod’s impact is equally significant. Alongside his wife, Erika, he co-founded the Change Our Future Foundation. This initiative focuses on lifting barriers for underprivileged communities through educational, health, and community empowerment programs.

The foundation emphasizes leadership, financial literacy, and STEM education to shape the next generation of leaders.

The foundation’s programs foster a healthy self-image among youths while preparing them for future educational and career opportunities. This includes initiatives that promote physical well-being and bridge gaps in healthcare.

By working closely with community members to understand and address their unique challenges, Change Our Future strives to create a sustainable impact, enabling these communities to thrive and succeed on their terms.
