(NYSE: DATA) today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 8,200,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a price to the public of $31.00 per share. A total of 5,000,000 shares are being offered by Tableau Software, and a total of 3,200,000 shares are being offered by certain selling stockholders. The shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on May 17, 2013 under the symbol “DATA”. In addition, the underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,230,000 shares of Class A common stock from Tableau Software.
