Actor Dwayne Johnson, aka the Rock, has gotten himself a new Ford (NYSE:F) off-road pickup truck in the presence of company CEO Jim Farley, who has been on a road trip on an F-150 Lightning.

What Happened: Johnson, also a former wrestler, picked up his new Ford from Galpin Ford — a dealer in California. Farley was visiting Galpin Ford on his way to Los Angeles.

“You never know who you’ll run into on the road…The Rock picked up his new truck from Galpin Ford and had a special message for the Ford +UAW team back in Dearborn. Thanks, DJ!,” Farley wrote in a post on social media platform X.

The post was adjoined by a short video of Johnson conveying thanks to the Ford family back in Dearborn with his new Ford F-150 Raptor R in the backdrop.

“I only drive Ford trucks,” Johnson said in the video.

The Rock’s New Ride: The gasoline-powered high-performance Ford F-150 Raptor R- can provide 700 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque.

The Raptor R shares the same exterior design as the Raptor but offers better performance with a 5.2 liter V-8 engine previously used in the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. The truck starts at $109,250.
