Tuesday was another extremely negative session for bullish investors, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeted 112 points to close at 10,024, with most of the losses coming in the last hour of trading. Among the after hours gainers today are Amgen (NASDAQ: AMGN), Tenet Healthcare (NYSE: THC), and Agrium (NYSE: AGU). Shares of AMGN have jumped 3.43% in late trading after the FDA approved the company's drug, denosumab. Volume has been heavy in the post-market session. Tenet Healthcare (THC) has gained 2.97% to $4.86 in the after hours. During regular market hours today, THC was decimated, losing 17.48% after the company confirmed it is discussing a potential acquisition of Healthscope Ltd., the second largest private hospital corporation in Australia. Agrium (AGU) has moved 2.09% higher in the after hours on very light volume. The shares are currently trading hands for $54.65.
