For the first time in 10 years, Wikipedia has received a new look to its desktop interface, but it is not something very dramatic or over the top.
What Happened: Wikipedia, one of the world's most visited websites, has, after a decade, made some changes in its desktop interface. These include a new table of contents, the ability to switch between multiple languages and a better search experience, among other things.

The update is "one of the major improvements" the Wikimedia Foundation has introduced, said Selena Deckelmann, chief product and technology officer at the Wikimedia Foundation, adding that the new features were integrated based on users' feedback.
However, it appears the subtle changes made by the platform to make it "easier to use and more welcoming for readers and contributors alike" hasn't impressed everyone.

The updated interface is already live on majority of the 318 active language versions of the site. It is now live on English Wikipedia web page too.
