Gold Fields Limited (Gold Fields) (JSE, NYSE, NASDAQ Dubai: GFI) reports that more than 7,000 of the 8,100 employeesthat were dismissed at KDC East (formerly Kloof Gold Mine) yesterday, havetoday lodged appeals against their dismissal.The appeal hearings start tomorrow and will be conducted over the next fewdays. The appeals will be chaired by independent chairpersons and thoseworkers whose appeals are successful may be reinstated.
