Generac Holdings (NYSE: GNRC) is trading higher on the session following its Q1 earnings announcement this morning. The company reported an EPS of $0.96 vs $0.71 estimates and revenues of $294.6 million vs $249.65 million estimates. Aaron Jagdfeld, President and Chief Executive Officer said, “Our first quarter results demonstrate the significant earnings power and strong free cash flow generation of Generac's business model. With the hard work of our employees and our flexible operations, we were able to quickly meet the increased demand for our products following the major outage events that took place in the second half of 2011.” Generac Holdings is currently trading at $30.00, a gain of $6.96 or 30.21%.
