Mosaic (NYSE: MOS) released its fiscal Q3 earnings results after the closing bell on Wednesday. The company reported net income attributable to the company of $273.3 million or $0.64 per share, versus $542.1 million or $1.21 per share, in the year ago period. Going into the report, Wall Street analysts had consensus EPS estimates of $0.75. Revenues for the quarter were $2.2 billion which was flay from the year ago quarter. This compared to Street estimates of $2.54 billion. Looking ahead, Mosaic sees total sales volumes for the Potash segment between 1.7 million to 2.2 million tons in the fourth quarter. Total sales volumes for Phosphates are expected in a range between 2.3 million to 2.7 million tons. In Wednesday's after hours trading session, MOS shares have lost 2.27% to $56.90.
