Wall Street analysts are projecting that the company will report earnings per share of $0.90. The low EPS estimate is $0.88 with a high estimate of $0.92. This compares to the $0.68 that Crane reported in the year ago quarter. On the revenue front, analysts have consensus estimates of $649.79 million with a low estimate of $639.55 million and a high estimate of $655.33 million. This compares to revenue of $574.01 million in the year ago period. Over the last 90 days, EPS estimates have risen by a penny from $0.89 to $0.90. During this time, CR shares have jumped 18.67%. On Monday, ahead of the company's earnings report, CR is up 0.12% to $50.46 and is outperforming the S&P 500 by roughly 34 basis points. Crane Co. and its subsidiaries are a manufacturer of engineered industrial products. The Company consists of five segments: Aerospace & Electronics, Engineered Materials, Merchandising Systems, Fluid Handling and Controls.
