Copado, a leading DevOps platform enabling the world's largest digital transformations on Salesforce, today announced the addition of four cloud industry executives to the company's leadership team. Rip Gerber joins as President and Chief Business Officer, Pat McQueen as Senior Vice President of Sales Engineering and Operations, Ram Reddy as Vice President of Engineering and Managing Director, India, and Bob DeSantis as independent director on the Copado board. These executive appointments come on the heels of a significant funding round, strong first half performance and several industry awards for the company's DevOps 360™ platform.

Rip Gerber was named President and Chief Business Officer, bringing more than 25 years of strategy, distribution and operations leadership experience in public and private enterprise software companies as an executive, board member and investor. Gerber will oversee the company's international sales and operations spanning EMEA, LATAM, APAC and Japan, Copado's global sales engineering function and the company's alliance ecosystem. He will also lead corporate development and Copado's mergers and acquisitions.

Gerber joins Copado from Vlocity (now Salesforce Industries) where he served in various executive capacities including Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Innovation Officer. For five years Gerber helped drive the company's hyper-growth, massive ecosystem and values-based celebratory culture from pre-customer, pre-revenue start-up to the fastest-growing company in the industry cloud and its $1.5 billion acquisition by Salesforce in June 2020.

Pat McQueen will be joining Copado as Senior Vice President of Sales Engineering and Operations. McQueen brings decades of experience working with the most sophisticated Salesforce customers to maximize their cloud investment and deliver their transformation strategies. Most recently, McQueen was Senior Vice President, Distribution Readiness at Salesforce.org. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Sales Engineering, where he led Salesforce's global pre-sales organization of 600+ technical and functional experts.

Ram Reddy was named Vice President of Engineering and Managing Director, India. Reddy brings two decades of engineering and CRM experience to Copado from Siebel Systems, Vlocity and Salesforce Industries. Reddy was employee #1 at Vlocity and built the core platforms and industry apps that propelled Vlocity as the leader in industry cloud applications on Salesforce.

Additionally, Bob DeSantis was appointed an independent director on the Copado board. DeSantis has been a board advisor and investor in Copado since 2018 and brings deep strategic experience and corporate governance to the company. He is a former SaaS executive who worked at Conga, DocuSign, Procuri and ImageX, where he has gained deep experience in managing go-to-market strategy, operations, M&A and IPO processes.

The new appointments join an already impressive slate of cloud executives at Copado, including Chief Operating Officer Sanjay Gidwani, Senior Vice President of Product David Brooks, Head of Customer Success Sabine Gillert and Chief Marketing Officer Andrew Leigh.
