SAN FRANCISCO, May 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Harvest Capital Strategies LLC (together with its affiliates, "Harvest"), one of the largest shareholders of Green Dot Corporation ("Green Dot" or the "Company") (NYSE: GDOT), with beneficial ownership of approximately 9.3% of the outstanding common stock of the Company, today announced that, based on the preliminary voting results provided by its proxy solicitor, Okapi Partners LLC, two of Harvest's nominees, Saturnino Fanlo and George W. Gresham, have been elected to Green Dot's Board of Directors at today's Annual Meeting of Shareholders. Certification of the final results by the independent inspectors of elections, IVS Associates, is expected to be completed in the coming days.
