Tribune Publishing Company (NYSE: TPUB) today announces the appointment
of Alex Rotonen, CFA, as Vice President of Investor Relations, reporting
to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Sandra Martin.
Rotonen, who joins the Company on November 16th, will be
responsible for all aspects of investor communications and will work
with Tribune Publishing's executive leadership team on a broad range of
strategic, financial and operational initiatives.

financial, investment and investor relations experience spans more than
20 years in successful leadership roles including sell-side analyst,
portfolio manager of a hedge fund and most recently VP/Investor
Relations for a public company."
Alex earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the Tuck
School of Business at Dartmouth College, as well as a Bachelor of
Business Administration degree in finance with high honors from the
University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
