World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. WWE is reportedly making a stand against WWE Network subscribers sharing passwords with friends and family. The company has updated its Terms of Service for the Network and added a new section about simultaneous streaming.
“Although your WWE Network subscription is accessible on a number of devices, your use is limited to one (1) WWE Network stream on one (1) device at any given time. IF YOU CIRCUMVENT OR ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMVENT ANY OF THE USE RESTRICTIONS IN THESE TERMS, YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE TERMINATION AND YOU MAY BE SUBJECT TO LEGAL ACTION,” the new section reads.

Password sharing is a major problem for streaming services like WWE Network. Netflix, Inc. NFLX,Time Warner Inc TWX’s HBO and other Internet video subscription providers reportedly lost more than $500 million in revenue due to illicit password-sharing in 2015.
Netflix has generally taken a passive approach to illegal piggybacking. At least for now, the company seems content to sacrifice some of its profits for addition exposure for its service.
The WWE network currently has 1.82 million subscribers, but it still offers one month of free access to new subscribers. The number of paid subscribers, as of April 4, was only 1.45 million.
