, Dan Nathan spoke about options trading activity in
Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:
CSCO).
The options market is implying a 4.5 percent one day move in either direction which is less than a 5 percent average move on the last four quarters. Options volume on Monday was 1.5 times higher than the average daily volume and the most active were the May 30 calls. Nathan noticed that a trader sold 2,200 contracts of the May 30 calls for $0.38 when the stock was trading at $29.30. He explained that the call options were sold above the break out level for the stock.
