Mozilla earlier today seeded the Release Candidate (RC) build of its Firefox 4 Web browser. The fact that Firefox 4, which has been in testing since July of last year, has reached the RC stage hints that a final version will be released to users relatively soon. Release Candidate builds are usually the final versions of software before they are officially released to the public.
Firefox 4 includes several new features, such as a refreshed user interface, tabs-on-top, improved HTML 5 and CSS 3 support, tab organization improvements, the ability to sync data between devices and computers, and improved add-on management. There have been no major changes between the twelfth beta build and the Release Candidate, just bug fixes.
Firefox 4 is available for download directly from Mozilla's public FTP server, or from the Firefox 4 website later today.
