West Elm Workspace with Inscape, the brand celebrated for bringing residential sensibility to the modern office space, is the recipient of three Best of NeoCon® Awards and a HiP Award. The Best of NeoCon® competition, supported by Contract Magazine, honors new products that are exhibited in Chicago during NeoCon, the leading event for the commercial design industry. West Elm Workspace was recognized by Contract Magazine for its Conduit System designed in collaboration with world-renowned design firm Gensler and West Elm Workspace's Linear Wood LED Lighting. Interior Design magazine awarded the West Elm Workspace Parasol Meeting Table with a HiP (Honoring Industry People and Products) Award.

Selected from more than 400 entries across 45 categories, West Elm Workspace accepted the following awards:

  • Gold in Furniture Systems: Conduit System designed in collaboration with Gensler, an innovative office system designed to offer flexibility and choice in its reconfigurable solutions, allowing businesses to alternate between a branching system to a traditional benching system with ease.
  • Gold in Lighting- Decorative: Linear Wood LED Lighting Collection, providing energy-efficient lighting using warm materials and modern forms with aesthetic details such as a walnut body and brass-plated accents.
  • Silver in Furniture Benching: Conduit System designed in collaboration with Gensler.

Interior Design magazine's annual HiP Awards honors commercial industry pioneers and achievement in product applications. West Elm Workspace accepted the award for:

  • HiP Workspace Furniture/Table: Parasol Meeting Table, a flexible, yet focused environment with an integrated dimmable light acting as a community hub and adjunct conference room.

"We are honored to be recognized by the industry for our commitment to designing a collection of innovative products that meet the needs of today's modern workplaces," said Catherine Schwartz, senior vice president of West Elm Workspace. "Our residential expertise and research-backed approach distinguishes us as a brand that is positioned to ‘unoffice the office' with flexible, meaningful and humanizing products."

In its third NeoCon showing, the 2017 West Elm Workspace product assortment features more than 20 new research-driven products aimed at "unofficing the office." Each design combines West Elm's residential sensibility with contract performance and abides by three key values: well-being, residential inspiration and choice.
