On January 23, 2017, NCI disclosed that the results of its initial investigation found that the Company's controller embezzled over $18 million from the Company over the past six years. The Complaint alleges that embezzled funds were written as expenses in the Company's financial statements, those financial statements that were unaudited for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2016 consist of serious material errors related to theft and therefore should not be relied upon. When this information was disclosed to the investing public, the value of NCI stock fell sharply, causing investors serious harm.
