Tyler Technologies to Provide Case Management Solution to Circuit Clerk of Tazewell County, Illinois

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed a five-year, software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreement with Tazewell County, Illinois' Circuit Clerk and Courts for Tyler's Odyssey Case Manager^™. The agreement includes Odyssey Public Web Portal, Odyssey Financial Manager, eSignatures, eNotices, Record on Appeal and Odyssey^™ Judge Edition.

Tazewell County had outgrown a software solution with limited functionality. Tyler's Odyssey Case Manager will offer more flexibility and personalized service for the ever-changing needs of the court system. Given the recent statewide implementation of Tyler's eFileIL, Illinois' e-filing solution, Tazewell County believed its current solution would not be able to provide the same level of integration with eFileIL as Tyler's Odyssey Case Manager.

With eFileIL already selected to provide e-filing to the Illinois Supreme Court, Illinois Appellate Court, and 87 Circuit Courts throughout the state, it made sense for Tazewell County to select Tyler to implement Odyssey Case Manager in its Circuit Court. Odyssey Case Manager is also being implemented in Kane County and currently operates in a neighboring county, Peoria, the largest county in the 10^th Judicial Circuit in Illinois. With the implementation in Tazewell County, its judges will enjoy the consistency of the Odyssey products for the courts in these two counties.

Odyssey Case Manager will help the county manage all aspects of court administration, including easily locating case information, creating and viewing dockets, generating forms and letters with advanced tools, quickly searching data, calculating fees and fines, distributing payments automatically and moving the courts to a paperless operation with the ability to sign court documents electronically. The solution will be delivered as a cloud-based system, which will require fewer county IT resources.
