MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MAA (NYSE: MAA) today announced that its board of directors approved a quarterly dividend of $0.82 per share of common stock payable on October 31, 2016 to shareholders of record on October 14, 2016.

As established in prior quarters, the company is declaring its quarterly common dividend in advance of its earnings announcement, which it expects to make on October 27, 2016.
