Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. (NASDAQ: ULTA) disclosed a new retail alliance with Acne-fighting product, Proactiv. As a result, the treatment system will be available to all its guests in select stores and online.
Ulta Beauty would be the exclusive beauty retailer of Proactiv. The company's stores would carry an assortment of Proactiv products that included individual items like three-step kits and additional products from its web portal.

Ulta Salon's SVP of prestige merchandising, Tara Simon, said, "We've listened to our guest and know she wants the most sought-after brands and we deliver them to her time and time again. Offering proactiv at Ulta Beauty is a huge win for us and more importantly our guests who have been requesting the brand for years."
Ulta shares shed $1.15, or 0.45 percent, to $253.70 at time of writing.
