Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS)'s ABC revealed on Thursday it has given the greenlight to all four of the networks game shows that have been delivering solid numbers all summer long.
"Celebrity Family Feud," "The $100,000 Pyramid," "Match Game" and "To Tell The Truth" has all played off audience's love of nostalgia and in the process helped the network beat out its competition. The success is especially important to investors as ABC just finished another full season where it was beaten by rivals NBC and CBS in several key areas prompting a leadership change.

The newly created "Sunday Fun & Games" block has proven to be a valuable asset that is helping ABC earn ratings it hasn't seen in that timeframe in years.
