IMS Health Selects Cloudera Enterprise to Support Big Data Factory for Healthcare And Life Sciences

IMS Health (NYSE: IMS) revealed that it selected Cloudera Enterprise to help its Big Data Factory, a cloud-based platform that transforms data into intelligence for life sciences and healthcare clients. The company said that these sectors could navigate dynamic markets, drive operational excellence and illustrate the medicines value. According to IMS Health, the collaboration with Cloudera would accelerate and improve data acquisition, processing and warehousing in the factory.The company's Chief Information Officer and VP of operations, Karl Guenault, said, "As IMS Health continues to innovate with Big Data, Cloudera will advance our efforts to build and provision breakthrough data processing and data warehousing solutions.
