The show’s production would face costly obstacles according to a CNBC article poted today. “Game of Thrones” is funded, in part, by the European Regional Development Fund, which tries to increase economic growth in the EU. As a result of the referendum, one of the show’s primary filming locations may be lost, Northern Ireland. Filming could become too costly, forcing HBO to either relocate or find alternative funding.
