C&J Energy Services Elevates Don Gawik As President And CEO

C&J Energy Services Ltd. (NYSE: CJES) revealed its Board has elevated its current COO, Don Gawick, to the position of President and CEO. According to the company, Gawick would also continue performing his existing duties as its COO.

C&J Energy Services said that Gawick is a 37-year veteran of the oilfield services industry and held several senior management positions during the course of his career since starting with Schlumberger in 1979. He served as President and CEO of Casedhole Solutions, Inc. earlier.

The company indicated that Gawick replaced Randy McMullen as its former President and Chief Executive Officer. McMullen stepped into the CEO role earlier this year after the unexpected death of its founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Josh Comstock.

Additionally, the Board appointed Danielle Hunter as EVP, General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer after the departure of Ted Moore, its earlier EVP, General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer.
