The latest dividend provided a yield of 1.7%.The company indicated that the dividend would be payable on July 22 to all its shareholders. The company has fixed the record date of July 1 for the purpose of determining the shareholders.EMC's latest dividend represented 45.0% of the payout ratio, i.e. the company paid 45.0% of its profit as a dividend. The company, which has been paying a dividend since 2013, has boosted the dividend rate in the last two straight years.On Monday, the stock traded 1.24% higher.
