Brady Corp (NYSE: BRC) disclosed it launched a new IEC electrical plug lockout device. The detachable IEC plug lockout device could be used to restrict power from going to a socket, according to the company.

Brady said that with the prevention of power from going into the socket, the device is an ideal tool for preventing tampering with office computers, equipment, peripheral equipment, and power supplies or any equipment, which uses the standard C13 3-prlng electrical power outlet.

The company's Global Product Manager, Tom Campbell, said, "For enhanced electrical safety in your workplace, Brady's new IEC Plug Lockout is an effective and easy-to-use lockout device. It combines reliability, a compact, portable size and simple, plug-and-twist installation to effectively lock out sockets. Brady's plug lockout can serve to either prevent unauthorized access for security purposes or as an energy isolation point lockout device to keep employees safe from electrical energy during maintenance."

On Monday, BRC traded higher by 0.67 percent.
