S&P Dow Jones Indices announced after Thursday's market close several changes to its indices.PrivateBancorp Inc (NASDAQ: PVTB) will replace Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRO) in the S&P MidCap 400 index while Cogent Communications Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: CCOI) will replace PrivateBancorp in the S&P SmallCap 600 index.The changes are expected to take place after Monday's market close. The changes were made following the close of DENTSPLY International Inc. (NASDAQ: XRAY) acquisition of Sirona Dental.S&P Dow Jones Indices added that Dentsply International, a component of the S&P 500 index, will change its name to Dentsply Sirona following the merger.
