(NASDAQ: AAPL) plans on using organic light emitting diode (OLED) screens in its future iPhones.Universal Display is a developer of organic light emitting diode technologies.Apple Insider, citing Electronic Times, reported that Apple is close to reaching a supply agreement with the display arms of Samsung and LG - both of which have experience with flexible OLED panels.Engadget also reported that Apple only plans on using OLED screens in a future iPhone that is scheduled for only 2018.
