(NYSE: ADPT) gained more than 6 percent Tuesday morning after the company's stock was added to the S&P SmallCap 600 index.S&P Dow Jones Indices, the manager of the SmallCap 600 index, noted that Adeptus Health will replace Globe Specialty Metals Inc (NASDAQ: GSM) following its combination with Grupo FerroAtlantica which created a new company called Ferroglobe plc.S&P Dow Jones noted that Ferroglobe does not meet the domicile and public float criteria to be included in the index.
