RLHC (Red Lion HotelsCorporation) (NYSE: RLH) today announced the second franchise licenseagreement in two weeks for a Red Lion Inn & Suites location in Washingtonstate. The future Red Lion Inn & Suites Bothell is expected to complete theconversion by the end of the year. "King County and the entire Seattle region has been a traditionally strongmarket for us and each additional location strengthens our position," saidRLHC Senior Vice President and Chief Franchise Officer Brian Quinn. "Thisproperty is particularly impressive and is operated by an excellentmanagement company." The future Red Lion Inn & Suites Bothell, 3850 Monte Villa Parkway, formerlya Springhill Suites by Marriott and currently an independent hotel, willcontinue to be managed by an affiliate of GF Management, based out ofPhiladelphia. Located in Western Washington just east of I-405, the hotelwith recently renovated lobby and public areas, features an all-suitesconcept which includes a kitchenette and living space, in addition to thelarge sleeping area. The hotel also has an indoor pool, a fitness center andcomplimentary Wi-Fi and breakfast. Bothell is a biotechnology hub withOncoGenex Pharmaceuticals, Seattle Genetics and Amgen among the dozen ormore companies operating there. The region is known for its annual BothellBeer Festival and local distilleries in nearby Woodinville.
