Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO), a mall-based specialty retailer of casual apparel for young women and men, today announced the opening of the Company's first store in Ireland. Through a licensing agreement with Shuz 4 U International Ltd., Aeropostale will celebrate its first store opening in Ireland at the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin on October 22, 2015.Julian R. Geiger, Chief Executive Officer of Aeropostale, Inc. said, "We look forward to bringing the Aeropostale brand to Western Europe for the first time through our partnership with Shuz 4 U International Ltd." Mr. Geiger continued, "By partnering with such a strong and established licensee, we are confident that the recognition and popularity of the Aeropostale brand will continue to grow across Europe."Through its partnership with Shuz 4 U International Ltd., Aeropostale expects to open ten standalone locations over the next five years.Paul Gallagher, Director of Shuz 4 U International Ltd., said: "We are absolutely thrilled to bring the iconic, teen New York brand Aeropostale to Ireland. Aeropostale's first Western European location will be a 4,000 square foot store located in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in Dublin, one of Ireland's largest shopping and leisure destinations."
