Viking Technology DDR4 ArxCis-NV - NVDIMM Validated on Supermicro® Server Platforms

Viking Technology, a division of Sanmina Corporation (Nasdaq: SANM), and leading global provider of innovative DRAM and solid state drive (SSD) solutions, today announces the testing and validation of its ArxCis-NV™, a DDR4 Non-Volatile DIMM (NVDIMM), by Supermicro® for integration in its SuperServer platforms. This validation enables customers using Supermicro® platforms to have access to next generation DDR4 NVDIMM technology, built for persistent memory in case of power-failure. Viking Technology has been instrumental in driving the ecosystem to support NVDIMM technology. The validation of the ArxCis-NV on Supermicro® platforms will expand the use of this technology among enterprise Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Datacenters and Hyperscale computing environments. This technology collaboration enables architectural and performance improvements in many of the applications shaping today's IT infrastructure, including storage, server virtualization, business analytics and social media.
