General Motors has formally filed its IPO, just minutes after it reported its third quarter results. It is announcing it will sell 365 million shares, which takes into account a 3 for stock split. The shares will be priced between $26-$29 per share, as the Detroit automaker seeks to raise $10 billionThe General Motors roadshow concludes on November 17, and the company will begin trading on November 18. Just moments ago, GM reported expected third quarter earnings of $1.9 billion to $2.1 billion in net income, on roughly $34 billion in revenue. It said the fourth quarter revenue will not be quite as strong as it was in the first three quarters of the year. GM is scheduled to report detailed earnings next Wednesday.
