Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (NYSE: BRK.A) (NYSE: BRK.B) reported Q1 financial results Friday.

Revenues came in at $48.644 billion compared to $45.453 billion in the first quarter of 2014,

Operating earnings came in at $4.244 billion, above the $3.533 billion in the prior year period.

Operating EPS was $2.583 billion, above estimates of $2.373 billion and the $2.149 billion reported in the year-ago period.

Berkshire also disclosed the Van Tuyl Group purchase for $4.1 billion.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Class B stock traded at $144.00 in the after hours session, up 0.45 percent.
